I would like to invite you to join me into a practice of deep relaxation.
A practice were we will be slowing down and opening up the body through passive and soft stretching.
Were we will experience awareness of the most subtle sensations throughout the body.
In comparison to Functional Yin Yoga where we aim for a deep stretch and compression in the body, Restorative Yin Yoga aims for the most comfortable way to stay in deep relaxation for an even longer period of time.
We will be accommodating the body’s needs by using a variety of props.
By adding breath work ( pranayama or breathing exercise ) to the practise we are able to rest and digest even more. It helps us to dive deeper into a Yin state of mind where will be able to fully let go.
Through Restorative Yin Yoga we can make the re-connection with our body and mind.
This experience will benefit our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
Expect to dive deeply into the body:
By slowing down and listening to its needs;
By fully relaxing in the present moment observing the mind;
By cultivating awareness and self reflection with a soft and non judgemental attitude.
